The NY Times has a kick-ass review of The Lincoln Lawyer in today's movies section. What most caught my eye: that reviewer Manohla Dargis says its safe to assume this could be a movie franchise. Nice. And Marisa Tomei as Maggie McFierce: brilliant casting.

My novel THE DANGEROUS TYPE won the MWA-NY 2009 Mentor Panel. I have written articles and reviews for the Lincoln Journal Star newspaper, Crimespree Magazine, January Magazine, Mystery Scene Magazine, The Rap Sheet, and the Strand Magazine. I co-edited The Lineup, a crime poetry series, for Issues 1-3. I am currently working on a novel, short story and screenplay.
